Minnamurra River 1

Situated right on the Minnamurra River, this townhouse is a great place to chill out and watch the water drift by. The rear deck is the place to do it from.

The deck has been kept simple with nardwood decking being left to naturally grey and provide a soft backdrop to the crisp white railing. The railing is extra wide and has been put at the perfect height to use as a seat or to rest your plate and drink on.

The deck is large enough to accommodate a dining table and chairs when everyone is visiting for a celebration, or just because. Or a number of lounging chairs for those lazy summer days that just go on forever. There's also a built in day bed in one corner with custom designed cushions.

With frequent guests, the owners needed more room so we worked with them to create a new 2 storey garage and studio.

Downstairs is the garage with loads of room for the cars and all the toys. There's also a handy extra toilet.

Upstairs in the studio, the custom built bunk beds are doubles, accommodating a total of 8 guests. There's custom built cabinetry including the drawers under the bed that provides plenty of storage for a rotating roster of family and friends. A kitchenette provides more storage and makes this studio self sufficient.

The flooring is light coloured hardwood boards making them easy to keep clean and fitting in with the coastal feel of the studio. Plantation shutters keep the window coverings streamlined and stylish. A well designed bathroom using a fixed wall for the walk in shower makes it easy to clean up all the river sand guests are sure to bring home with them. 

This is a great space to accommodate guests in comfort and style.
